Career Opportunities

Our graduates have gone on to work at companies like Chevron, Begneaud Manufacturing, Baker Hughes, Inc., GE, Halliburton, Dow Chemical, Schlumberger, Shell, Stuller, Inc., the U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Air Force. Most of our alumni are earning salaries between $70,000 and $110,000 a year in a variety of industries.

The types of companies vary; however, the majority of companies are related to the oil service sector. Many positions involved some type of upper management/supervisor responsibilities.

Employment Help

The College of Engineering recently implemented the Frank & Jessie Mosing Endowed Engineering Student Career Development Program, which offers services specifically to all engineering students. Most of the services are oriented to help you with career development, including resume writing advice, interviewing tips, internship and co-op education, and job placement help.
