What does an engineering and technology manager do?

Engineering and technology managers combine engineering, management, and technology to make all types of production faster, simpler, and more efficient. Most work in the energy sector, however, there are opportunities spanning all industries, plus education and government.

Engineering and technology management is about half business, half engineering — you are responsible for leading teams of people to develop innovative and creative improvements for the operation and maintenance of complex technological systems.
